Another snowy Saturday!!

Hello all! Well, I woke up to yet another snowy Saturday! Winter is just about to wear out it's welcome around here! Come on Spring!!! I haven't been outside of the house since Wednesday and I am about to go stark raving mad!!!!! Hubby is only working half a day today so maybe he will take me out somewhere when he gets home. Although by the looks of these pictures, it might be safer to just stay home!!

This pic is one of the rocking chairs on my front porch. This is snow that has fallen since around Wednesday, I think:

Here's another, wider view of the porch. The bench in the middle was made for me by my uncle. It has a wedding chapel bird house on it and a welcome friends rock plaque on it although you can't see them for all the snow!! LOL!

And finally, a pic of my poor little car that hasn't been out of the driveway all week! We have an incline for a driveway and even though it's snow covered right now, underneath that snow is nothing but ice! The tires on my little purple "gangsta mobile" aren't in the best shape and just won't go up the incline when it's icy!

I don't have much on the agenda for today. I was hoping to get to the library in town to check out a couple of books I've been wanting to read. Doesn't look like that will happen though with all this bad weather. Looks like a good day for crafting, don't you think?? LOL!

Well, that's it for now. Try to stay warm and cozy today!

Until next time. . .

Hugs,

  3. Great day for crafting! We look just like you Donna and have that ice underneath too that makes it so much harder to get around! Hang in there, you will probably see Spring long before we do! Cindy

  5. Looks like a real good craft day to me Donna! I know I wouldn't want to be out driving in all that snow and ice.. We still have some snow here and there in Oklahoma, but nothing like you're having. We've been having the real cold weather here... It was 8 degrees out this morning.. Gosh, take in the temperature with the wind chill factor, and that would make it be soooo very, very cold! We don't usually have the cold temps that we've been having... Can't wait till spring arrives neither!! I like having the warmer weather a whole bunch more!!

    Have a good one!

The stuff you have made are amazing- I especially love the little sheep and I am so envious of the wooden items your hubby made!! I am working on gameboards this weekend, wow, this is so addictive isn't it? Visit soon, ~Shazy x

  7. I hear you about the weather. I work for a school, so my boys and I were out of school for 3 days this week, due to weather. Our windchills yesterday were -30. Brrr.
    Have a great weekend.
